Lighted athletic complexes like Chuck Lennon Park extend to 10 PM for scheduled league play. City parks vary: Daytona Beach (Code Β§58) closes most parks at 11 PM, DeLand (Code Ch. 17) at dusk, Ormond Beach at 10 PM, New Smyrna Beach (NSB) at dusk, and Deltona at dusk. Beach driving areas close to traffic from 7 PM to 8 AM (or 8 PM to 8 AM in summer) per County Beach Code Ch. 20. Overnight camping is prohibited in all day-use parks. Park rangers and Volusia County Sheriff enforce closures; violators may be cited for trespass after warning under Florida Β§810.09.
