Full Breakdown

Under Sec. 58.029 of the city code, no one may enter or remain in any city park between 11:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. The only defenses to prosecution are participating in a supervised program approved by the parks and recreation director, or fishing along the San Marcos River. Supervised-program approval requests must go to the director at least 24 hours before the program starts, on the department's form. A related provision, Sec. 58.032, separately bars leaving a vehicle, boat, or trailer in a park during these curfew hours.
