Solano County, CA Curfew Laws: Park Curfew (2026)

Solano County Code Chapter 19 (Parks, Recreation and Other Public Property) does not fix a single closing time. Section 19-70 grants the Parks Division (Department of Resource Management) authority to close to public use any portion of a county park, or restrict the hours during which a park, lake, or stream is open, whenever it determines closure is prudent to safeguard health, safety, and welfare. Posted gate signs are the binding hours. County parks include Lake Solano County Park, Belden's Landing, Sandy Beach Regional Park, Lynch Canyon Open Space, and Rockville Hills Regional Park. Section 19-160 lists prohibited acts inside parks (fires, fireworks, amplified sound without permit, alcohol in alcohol-free areas, vandalism). Article III (§§19-200 to 19-270) governs camping: §19-220 makes camping outside designated areas unlawful. Section 19-50 makes most violations misdemeanors punishable by up to 6 months jail and/or $1,000 fine (motor-vehicle violations are infractions). The county juvenile curfew in §16-10 (10:00 p.m. to sunrise for persons under 18) also applies in public places, including parks, in the unincorporated county.
