Full Breakdown

Section 74-20.H(1) bars anyone from taking off, launching, or landing an unmanned aircraft system in or on any County park or property unless the flight is first authorized by permit. The same subsection also requires that any drone operation comply with all applicable state and federal aviation law, including 14 CFR Part 1 and N.J.S.A. 2C:40-27. The rule sits in Chapter 74's recreational-activities article alongside model-airplane and rocket restrictions, and is enforced through the chapter's general penalty clause.

Violations & Fines

Enforced under § 74-6.1: up to 90 days' imprisonment, a fine up to $5,000, or 90 days' community service, plus permit revocation.
