Per Gwinnett Unified Development Ordinance Β§230-20.1 (Fences & Walls), residential-district fences may not exceed 4 ft in the front yard (forward of the front building line) and 8 ft in side and rear yards. On corner lots, a 10x10 ft sight triangle at the intersection must be kept clear of anything over 30 inches tall. Barbed wire, razor wire, and electric fences are prohibited in residential zones (allowed in AG and certain I districts only). Height is measured from existing grade on the higher side of the fence.
