Code § 118-900G targets sight obstructions specifically at street corners: on a corner lot in a residence zone, no obstruction to sight more than 30 inches in height is allowed within the area formed by the intersecting street lines and a straight line joining those street lines at points 30 feet from the point of intersection. The provision is not limited to fences by name, but it captures fences directly since a fence is the most common obstruction a property owner installs near a corner; hedges, walls and similar barriers are covered the same way.

Zoning permit applications for fences on corner lots are checked against this triangle by the Zoning Inspector before installation is approved.
