Fences higher than the limits require a fence-height adjustment from the Planning Director. On sloping ground or atop retaining walls, a 6-foot solid fence may be measured from the up-slope side as long as total combined height (retaining wall plus fence) does not exceed 10 feet measured from the down-slope side. Visibility triangles at intersections impose a 30-inch limit in the corner cutoff area.
