Violations & Fines

Installing or constructing a fence or wall without first obtaining an approved fence permit from the Community Development Department violates Section 13.060(A). The Director reviews every application against Chapter 13's location, height, and retaining-wall standards before approval, so an unpermitted fence, or one built to different dimensions than what was approved, is not in compliance and can be required to be brought into conformance or removed.
