St. George, UT Filming & Production: Street Closures (2026)

Anyone planning to close or restrict a St. George street, right-of-way, trail, or other public property for a nonconstruction purpose, including a film shoot, must obtain a nonconstruction encroachment permit under City Code section 3-11-6. The complete electronic application, with fees, is due at least 45 calendar days before the event; late submissions are not accepted. The applicant must supply a full list of property owners along the closure segment, pulled from the Washington County Recorder, so the city can notify residents and occupants. The Events Review Committee reviews the application, and the city issues a written approval, conditional approval, or denial at least 10 days before the event.
