Violations & Fines
Fireworks used outside the listed dates and hours are a summary offense under Section 805, Subsection 2 of the Noise Control Ordinance, carrying a fine up to $1,000 plus costs and up to 30 days in jail if unpaid. Operating a commercial pyrotechnics display without the Section 114.3 Certificate of Fitness is enforced separately under the Fire Code's amended penalty schedule.
