All residential debris burning shall be banned during the period including June 1st to the end of the declared fire season each year in all areas of Tehama County with the exception of the following: All residential debris burning within the communities of Mineral, Childs Meadows, Deer Creek and Mill Creek shall be banned during the period including July 1st to the end of the declared fire season each year.B.Notwithstanding subdivision (A), the county fire chief may permit residential debris burning within all or any part of the county prior to the end of the declared fire season in any year, upon finding that such burning will not endanger the public health, safety, or welfare. Such action shall be proclaimed twenty-four hours in advance by press release and posted on the county website, and may be rescinded by the fire chief in the same manner. Any residential debris burning conducted during such period shall require an LE-62A residential burn permit - BURN PILE, issued to the responsible person. (Ord. 1868 § 2(part), 2006)
