Any person intending to operate a mobile food truck in the City must obtain a business license. The applicant must provide all of the same documents as required for a Mobile Ice Cream truck, but in addition, they must provide a valid Food Manager's Card issued from the Maricopa County Department of Health Services. The applicant must submit for a background check pursuant to Section 8-3-9 of this article and no license will be issued until results for the background check are received from Department of Public Safety. Fees for this license are established by the current fee schedule as adopted by the City Council.
