Brownsville, TX Food Trucks & Mobile Vendors: Vending Zones (2026)

The prohibition covers selling food or refreshments along the street outside a permanent building, or on any vacant lot. Restricted corridors include Boca Chica Boulevard, Paredes Line Road, Central Boulevard, Palm Boulevard, International Boulevard, Southmost Road, Old Port Isabel Road, Old Alice Road, Mexico Boulevard, Padre Island Highway, FM 802, FM 511, both frontage roads of U.S. 77/83, and U.S. 281, plus the entire downtown-area district bounded by East Madison Street, the city limits, Palm Boulevard, and International Boulevard. Approved operating sites are the 77 Flea Market, a designated food truck park, or a commercial lot as an accessory use with a notarized owner agreement, restroom access within 500 feet, and a dumpster.
