These location and hour rules apply on top of the general operating standards in § 29-19, covering paved surfaces, utilities, trash and recycling, and the ban on selling anything besides food and non-alcoholic drinks.
Violations & Fines
Operating outside the permitted hours or areas set by § 29-18 is a municipal infraction under § 29-20(b): $50 for a first violation and $100 for each one after that within a rolling 12-month period, with every day of noncompliance treated as its own offense. The Director can also suspend the mobile food unit's license for up to 30 days for a location or hours violation, or revoke it if the violation amounts to a public nuisance or safety hazard.
