Such permit shall in each instance state the occasion for which it is issued and the date upon which it will expire ... Operating as a transient vendor inside an excluded zone, or without a valid permit at all, is a compliance failure under Section 110-258 and grounds for permit forfeiture under Section 110-267: the department of finance can suspend the permit for up to ten days, and if a hearing confirms the violation, the permit is immediately forfeited, surrendered and cancelled with no refund of fees paid.
