The following shall be permitted as temporary uses without complying with the permit requirements of this section:1.Garage sales conducted in residential areas by the owner of such premises for no more than 3 days total in any 180-day period; and2.Christmas tree sales.C.Authority to Approve Temporary uses are prohibited, except that the Zoning Administrator shall have the authority and responsibility to grant permits for certain temporary uses as provided in this section.D.Definition A temporary use is a use of property conducted from an area, structure or facility that does not require a building permit from the City of Fargo and which may not comply with the use or dimensional standards of this Land Development Code. Such area, facility, or structure may include parking lots, lawns, trucks, tents, or other temporary structures.E.Time Limit Temporary uses will be permitted for a maximum of 15 days, provided, however, the Zoning Administrator should be authorized to allow such temporary use to extend for as long as 8 months. Upon expiration of a temporary use permit, another permit for the same premises may not be obtained for at least 30 days.
