Section 19.92.090(B) of the Rural Land Development Code exempts short-term sales from a residence from the home occupation permit process entirely, treating them as an outright use rather than a regulated business activity. The code caps each sale at four days in duration and limits any single property to no more than 10 such sales in a given calendar year. The chapter names the uses this covers as 'typically known as: yard or garage sales, estate sales, auctions, beverage stands, rummage and craft sales.'
