Section 405.385, Garage Sales, adopted by Ordinance No. 5132 in 2009, sets three separate numeric limits that apply in all residential zoning districts of the City of St. Peters, Missouri. First, a residence may conduct only one garage sale during any given month. Second, a single garage sale event may last up to two days, and those two days do not have to be back-to-back; the code allows either two consecutive days or two non-consecutive days as long as both fall within the same seven-day period.

Third, the code caps the total number of garage sales at any one residence at six per calendar year, so even a household that never exceeds the once-a-month limit cannot exceed six total sales across twelve months.
