Signage is separately regulated: VMC 20.960.030(N) prohibits garage sale signs that remain posted more than 7 calendar days in any one calendar year — signs must be removed once the event ends and the annual 7-day total may not be exceeded. Sales must comply with other code provisions, including noise and nuisance standards.
