14, Home Occupation, lays out nine conditions a Linden resident must meet to run a business from home, and two of them directly govern client contact and traffic. Subsection f prohibits the home occupation from involving the use of commercial vehicles or delivery service for delivery of materials to or from the premises, and separately bars the activity from creating more traffic than is customary for a residence of the type permitted in the zone, tying the traffic limit to what an ordinary house on that block would generate rather than a fixed trip count.

Subsection g goes further and forecloses in-person client contact entirely: no customer, client, colleague or member of the public may visit the home in connection with the home occupation carried on within the dwelling. Read together with the section's other conditions, the ordinance describes a home occupation that must be invisible from outside: subsection a confines the activity entirely within the dwelling unit with no accessory structures used; subsection b bars any change in the dwelling's appearance or visible evidence of the business; subsection c bars storing equipment, vehicles, or supplies outside the dwelling; subsection h bars advertising the home occupation's location through newspaper, radio, television, or other public advertising; and subsection i bars equipment or processes that create noise, vibration, glare, fumes, or odors detectable at the property line.

Taken as a whole, Linden's code treats a home occupation as a use that must generate zero outward sign that a business exists there at all, ruling out client meetings, commercial deliveries, and any walk-in traffic tied to the business.
