f. The number of people that do not reside on the premises that are engaged in the residential business at the dwelling is not limited, so long as any negative impacts are found to be sufficiently mitigated consistent with the criteria set forth above.
g. Public hours of operation. Any aspects of the business that are available to the public shall only be conducted between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.
h. One non-illuminated nameplate not exceeding one and one-half square feet in area placed flat against the building shall be allowed for each dwelling containing a Residential Business.

Full Breakdown
Under Tacoma's Residential Business standards, limited on-premises sales are allowed alongside a home-based service business, but only if the product is accessory to the service, customer visits are arranged by appointment, and the sales don't create nuisances beyond what's typical for the neighborhood. Public-facing business hours are capped at 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and the Director can attach added conditions to the required Residential Business license.
Violations & Fines
Unpermitted walk-in retail traffic or on-premises sales outside these conditions can trigger code enforcement and revocation of the Residential Business license.
