Subsection G(7) is written broadly: no customer, clients, colleagues or members of the public shall visit the home in connection with the home occupation carried on within the dwelling. Subsection G(8) closes the obvious workaround by prohibiting any additional on- or off-street parking spaces for clients and customers on the premises, so a homeowner cannot carve out a driveway spot to receive business visitors even without foot traffic to the door.

Subsection G(6) reinforces the same goal from the traffic side: a home occupation cannot involve commercial vehicles or a delivery service moving materials to or from the property, and it cannot create more traffic than is customary for a residence of the type permitted in the zone. Read together, G(6), (7) and (8) treat any occupation that draws visitors, deliveries or extra vehicle trips as incompatible with the home-occupation classification. A business that needs to see clients, whether a hair stylist, tutor, consultant or contractor meeting customers on-site, does not qualify as a permitted home occupation under this section and would need a different, non-residential zoning classification and site.
