Full Breakdown

Buckeye City Code § 11-1-7, titled in part "Urban Camping Prohibited," bars picnicking, camping, or staying overnight anywhere in a city park or community services facility other than a designated area, unless the community services director or designee grants permission. Overnight RV, motor-home, and travel-trailer camping citywide is also routed through this section. Enforcement under § 11-6-1 lets police or staff remove violators, seize property used in the violation, and issue escalating civil fines, with repeat offenders barred from city parks for up to 12 months.

Violations & Fines

Civil penalty: $150-$2,500 first offense, $300-$2,500 second, $500-$2,500 third and beyond, each day a separate offense; serious or repeat violators face up to a 12-month park trespass, appealable within 5 days.
