b.Artificial turf. Artificial turf may be utilized as part of the landscape plan when it meets the following criteria:1.Shall be installed over soil and include a drainage system that allows for water infiltration to reduce run-off.2.When installed in areas that require the inclusion of trees (i.e. greenway strips, residential front and street side yards) the required trees and irrigation shall be incorporated into the artificial turf area.3.Shall not be utilized on slopes over 25 percent.4.Shall not comprise over 50 percent of total required landscape area.
