Under SJRWMD rules (40C-2 FAC), odd-numbered addresses may irrigate on Wednesday and Saturday and even-numbered addresses on Thursday and Sunday during Daylight Saving Time. Non-residential addresses water on Tuesday and Friday. During Eastern Standard Time the schedule tightens to one day per week. Hand watering with a shutoff nozzle, micro-irrigation, and reclaimed water use (where available) are exempt. Ocoee Utilities enforces these restrictions and issues citations. Many Ocoee neighborhoods use reclaimed water via the city's reuse program, but reclaimed users are still encouraged to follow the schedule.
