Property owners must keep premises free of weeds, overgrowth, rubbish, and noxious plants. Noxious species (poison ivy, ragweed, Japanese knotweed) may receive priority enforcement near sidewalks. Notice of violation gives the owner a set period (commonly 10 days) to abate; failure leads to city abatement billed to the owner plus administrative fees.
