150, in the Rural Land Development Code's public facility standards division, addresses bicycle lanes as a subdivision design requirement rather than a traffic or right-of-way rule: "The Review Body may require the installation of separate bicycle lanes within arterial and collector streets and/or separate bicycle paths, if necessary to extend an existing or planned system of bicycle routes, shown on the adopted bicycle route plan, or if a need is otherwise indicated. " The decision is discretionary: the Review Body imposes the requirement during subdivision, partition or planned unit development review only where a bike lane or path would extend the county's adopted bicycle route plan, or where some other need is shown, not as an automatic condition on every new road.

Any lane or path the county does require must be built to Oregon's own bicycle facility standards, not a separate county specification. 040: "Bike Lane, Path, or Way" means any trail, path, or part of a highway, shoulder, sidewalk, or travelway specifically signed and marked for bicycle travel. 81, including road alignment, block layout and alley width, all of which the Public Works Director administers alongside the Review Body. 19, with written notice, a correction period, and a fine on conviction of up to $500 for a noncontinuing offense or $1,000 for a continuing one.
