Corpus Christi, TX Mobility & Curb Rules: TNC Pickup Zones (2026)

Corpus Christi Code of Ordinances Sec. 1 governs transportation network company (TNC) operations, meaning Uber, Lyft and similar app-based ride services, at Corpus Christi International Airport. 00 to cover geofence and automated vehicle identification (AVI) technology, agreement administration and required monthly and annual reporting. Individual drivers must hold a valid vehicle-for-hire permit issued under chapter 57 of the Code before operating at the airport. While waiting for a fare through the company's app, drivers must wait in the designated waiting area of the airport complex if one is available, or otherwise wait outside the geofence; drivers may not wait in areas leased or managed by airport tenants and may not park where they impede vehicle ingress or egress.

Drivers may pick up pre-arranged passengers only at the designated transportation network pick-up areas at the airport complex, as set by the director and published in the airport's ground transportation rules and regulations. The airport enforces boundaries with geofence technology: each TNC must maintain a geofence application (or use the airport's own system once adopted) that prevents the app from showing available vehicles inside the geofence except in the designated waiting areas, and that tracks vehicle movement into and out of the boundary. 00 per passenger, paid monthly by the TNC via wire transfer or ACH, due by the tenth day of the month following the trips. Each entry into the geofence is presumed to be for a pickup and billed accordingly unless the airport is notified otherwise in advance.
