040 sets two mapped airport noise zones by day-night average sound level (Ldn): Zone 2 covers areas measured at 65 to 75 Ldn, and Zone 3 covers areas measured greater than 75 Ldn. 050: the Oak Harbor Airpark, South Whidbey Airpark, and Camano Airpark (general aviation), plus Ault Field and OLF Coupeville, the two tactical military jet facilities used for field carrier landing practice (FCLP) by aircraft based at NAS Whidbey Island. 020 makes the disclosure duty run with all land inside the delineated airport environs map, current or later adopted.

060 makes clear the chapter creates no cause of action or county liability; it exists to inform buyers, not to restrict flight operations, which the county cannot regulate. 050 directs callers to the Community Planning Liaison Office at NAS Whidbey Island or the Island County Planning and Community Development Department. 030(B)(2) expressly exempts 'sounds originating from aircraft in flight and sounds that originate at airports and airfields which are directly related to flight operations' from its nighttime disturbance rules.
