Sound amplification equipment used outdoors for non-commercial purposes requires compliance with the 65/50 dBA day/night limits. Applications for outdoor sound permits must be filed with the Department of Finance at least 15 calendar days prior to the event and the amplified sound location must not be within 500 feet of any school, hospital, or entertainment venue.
