Oklahoma City Code § 34-4(a)(6) makes it a violation to operate a radio, musical instrument, loudspeaker, or other amplification device on public property or a public right-of-way so that it's plainly audible 50 feet or more away, or plainly audible inside any dwelling that isn't the source, unless a noise permit has been issued. Stationary outdoor sound sources also must stay under the § 34-6 zoning-district decibel table: 55 dBA (day) / 50 dBA (night) in residential zones, 60/55 dBA commercial, 70 dBA industrial, measured at the property boundary. Permits (§ 34-7) run 3 consecutive days max and can't authorize sound past 11:00 p.m. in residential zones (midnight elsewhere), and events within 500 feet of a posted school, church, or hospital during its operating hours can't get a permit at all.

Class "a" municipal offense; repeat violations become a Class "b" offense. Each continuous day of disturbance is one offense; non-continuous violations are charged separately even on the same day.
