Chapter VI, Section 7(C) of the Jackson County Parks and Recreation Commission Ordinance folds animal noise into the same section that regulates sound amplification and vehicle horns. It bars keeping 'any animal or bird which causes frequent or loud continued noise that disturbs the comfort or repose of any persons in the vicinity' while on Commission property. The ordinance defines 'keeps' broadly in the same clause: a person keeps an animal if they have a property right in it, have it in their care, custody or control, or simply permit it to remain on their premises, so a camper whose dog barks continuously at a Commission campground can be cited even if the dog technically belongs to someone else in the group.

This sits alongside the general pet rule in Chapter VIII, Section 10(C), which welcomes leashed domestic pets on Commission property with a leash no longer than six feet but does not exempt them from the noise standard. at a campsite.
