Middletown Township's Section 155-2.F prohibits operating any power saw, sander, drill, grinder, mower, blower, or garden tools used primarily for domestic purposes outdoors between one hour after sunset and 8:00 a.m. the following day. Some Delco communities have considered gas-blower or decibel-based limits, but rules vary municipality to municipality. Pennsylvania has no statewide leaf-blower ban, so the operative rule is whatever your borough or township adopts. Check your own municipal noise chapter for hours and any equipment restrictions.
