Bucks County, PA Noise Ordinances: Quiet Hours (2026)

Section 9.7 of the Bucks County Park System Rules and Regulations governs camping, and subsection D provides simply that quiet time at all campsites will begin at 10 PM. That quiet-time rule sits among other camping conditions: Section 9.7.A requires a permit and payment of applicable fees to camp at all; Section 9.7.B bars entering another camper's site or coming within five feet of another's tent, shelter or cabin without permission; Section 9.7.E limits camping permits to one to seven days, after which a new permit is required; and Section 9.7.F allows Park Police to remove and secure personal items from a site occupied more than 24 hours without a permit. The Director also holds authority under Section 9.7.G to add further camping rules that are then published in the permit application, so a specific campground's posted rules can supplement, but not lower, the 10 p.m. quiet time set in the ordinance itself.
