Full Breakdown
Zoning Resolution §18.5 lets recreational vehicles, campers, buses, trailers, mobile home coaches, boats and boat trailers park or be stored in unincorporated Fulton County's residential districts, but only under two conditions: the vehicle can't be used as living quarters, and it must sit within the lot's buildable area, not in front of the principal structure. Separately, §18.3.1 caps visible storage of more than four vehicles at a single-family residence. This governs only unincorporated county land. Atlanta, Sandy Springs, Johns Creek, Milton, South Fulton and other cities enforce their own parking codes.
Violations & Fines
Code Enforcement may cite a property owner for storing an RV, boat or trailer in front of the house or using it as living quarters, requiring relocation or removal to comply.
