5 of the Warwick Zoning Ordinance regulates private garages and vehicle storage in residence districts, and subsection (B) specifically addresses commercial trucks. Any commercial vehicle exceeding 9,900 pounds gross vehicle weight, or carrying three or more axles, cannot be stored, parked, or garaged anywhere in a residence district. The rule goes further than a weight cutoff: vans, trailers, semitrailers, and self-propelled machinery designed for commercial use are prohibited outright in residential zones regardless of tonnage, as are vehicles designed to move such trailers. The only carve-out is for customized vans used principally for pleasure or recreational purposes, which are exempt from the section.

5(C), bars overnight parking of buses in a residential district altogether, though special education buses are excepted. A homeowner or contractor who leaves a dump truck, box truck, or tractor-trailer parked on a residential driveway overnight is in violation the moment the vehicle sits on the lot, since the ordinance requires no complaint or notice period to trigger enforcement.
