Warwick, RI Parking Rules: Overnight Parking (2026)

Section 76-200(a) states the default rule plainly: except as provided elsewhere in the code or in subsection (b), it is not unlawful to park a vehicle on any Warwick street all night. , is not permitted. The 21 listed locations include the odd-numbered side of Deerfield Drive, the northerly side of Canfield Court to the cul-de-sac, the odd-numbered side of Blade Street, the even-numbered side of Byron Boulevard, both sides of Pontiac Street, and full-street bans on Adelaide Avenue, O'Donnell Avenue, Tiernan Street, Glass Street, Preston Street, Alden Street, Priscilla Street, Surf Street and Ogden Street, among others.

This means Warwick does not impose a blanket overnight parking ban like some cities; the restriction is street-specific and applies only where the ordinance names the street or side of street. A related provision at section 76-201 requires the board of public safety to mark at least four percent of parking spaces at municipal facilities as reserved for the handicapped.
