9(F), part of Article 10's Access, Loading, and Parking Standards, sets minimum dimensions for every off-street loading space in the unincorporated county at 12 feet wide by 25 feet long, with a 14-foot minimum vertical clearance and access aisles wide enough for backing and turning. The number of required spaces then scales with a building's gross floor area and how much freight it moves. Table 10-4, the High Volume Loading Area schedule, covers industrial plants, wholesale establishments, storage warehouses, freight terminals, hospitals, and retail establishments: one space from 5,000 to 20,000 square feet, two from 20,001 to 80,000, three from 80,001 to 170,000, four from 170,001 to 260,000, and one additional space for each further 45,000 square feet beyond that.

Table 10-5, the Low Volume Loading Area schedule, applies to office buildings, restaurants, funeral homes, hotels, motels, multi-family dwellings, auditoriums, and religious institutions: one space from 5,000 to 80,000 square feet, two from 80,001 to 200,000, three from 200,001 to 320,000, four from 320,001 to 500,000, and one more for each additional 18,000 square feet above that. 9 directs alternate parking analyses to the Zoning Administrator as part of permit and site plan approval, and loading-area compliance is checked the same way before a certificate of occupancy issues. The section does not set loading dock hours; it regulates dock count and dimensions only.
