Cameron County sets no overnight on-street parking rule; that's a city matter. But at county beaches and parks, a Day Use pass grants no overnight privileges โ overnight stays require a paid, registered RV or tent camping space.
Overnight parking bans on residential streets are city ordinances; unincorporated Cameron County has no zoning and no such rule. The county does enforce overnight rules on its own beaches and parks. Under the Park Space Agreement, day-use visitors pay a $12 per-vehicle entrance fee with no overnight privileges, and camping requires registering for an RV or tent site before setup. Sleeping overnight in a vehicle outside a paid, registered site is not permitted at Isla Blanca or Andy Bowie parks.
In county parks, staying overnight on a day-use pass is prohibited; unregistered or holdover vehicles may be removed or towed at the owner's expense by the Parks Department.
