Summary
Kenosha County Code § 7.30(2)(b) bars parking, stopping, or standing a vehicle longer than 24 hours in any one spot within a county highway right-of-way or a designated county park lot. The limit applies countywide on county trunk highways, separate from the shorter posted time limits the county can set for individual roads or lots under § 7.30(2)(a). It does not reach city or village streets.
No owner or operator of any vehicle shall park, or stop, or leave standing such vehicle, or suffer, or allow, or permit such vehicle to be parked, or left standing longer than 24 hours in any one place within the right-of-way of any public highway in the county or longer than 24 hours in any designated parking area in a county park.

Full Breakdown
30(2) gives the county two overlapping tools for limiting how long a vehicle can sit on county property. Subsection (a) lets the county post signs along any county highway or in a county park lot setting a specific time limit; once posted, leaving a vehicle beyond that period violates the ordinance. Subsection (b) sets a blanket 24-hour cap that applies whether or not the location is signed: no owner or operator may park or leave a vehicle standing longer than 24 hours in any one place within the right-of-way of a public highway in the county, or longer than 24 hours in a designated county park parking area.
40's separate abandoned-vehicle standard, under which any vehicle left unattended without the property owner's permission for more than 48 hours is deemed abandoned and becomes a public nuisance subject to impoundment. 30 well before it reaches the 48-hour abandonment threshold. As with the rest of Chapter 7, this limit governs county trunk highways and county park lots; it does not apply on streets inside the City of Kenosha or the villages of Pleasant Prairie, Somers, Twin Lakes, Paddock Lake, and Silver Lake, each of which sets its own overnight or long-term parking rules.
Violations & Fines
A vehicle left more than 24 hours in one spot on a county highway right-of-way or county park lot violates § 7.30(2)(b) and is subject to the same forfeiture schedule as other parking violations under § 7.60(4): $20 if paid within 10 days, $40 within 40 days, and $55 after that. Under § 7.30(5) the Sheriff's Department can also tow the vehicle to a county storage lot.
