BCZR Section 415A governs RVs and boats in residential zones. One recreational vehicle (motorhome, travel trailer, fifth-wheel, truck camper, camping trailer, or boat) may be stored per residential lot. It must carry a current license (except truck campers), may not be lived in or occupied while stored, and must stay mechanically ready to be moved. On single-family or semi-detached lots it must sit 2.5 feet from any rear or side lot line and, if in a side yard, at least eight feet behind the front foundation line. On row/group-house lots it may only be in the rear yard, 2.5 feet from side or rear lot lines.
