Full Breakdown

Section 54-352(f)(1) of the zoning ordinance prohibits customary storage of any sports vehicle, boat, boat trailer, utility trailer, camper or similar recreational or business vehicle in the required front yard of a residential district. Side and rear yards are not restricted by this clause. The rule reaches only unincorporated towns within the county that have adopted the general zoning ordinance under Wis. Stat. § 59.69 -- it never applies inside Appleton, Kaukauna, Seymour, Kimberly, Little Chute or any other incorporated city or village, each of which regulates its own residential parking separately.

Violations & Fines

Violations are handled under the general zoning penalty, sections 54-5 and 1-10: forfeiture of $5 to $500 for a first offense, more for repeats, plus daily continuing-violation exposure.
