Fort Lee Borough prohibits parking recreational vehicles, boats, trailers, and campers on public streets and in residential front yards except during loading or unloading periods.
Under the Fort Lee Borough Code, recreational vehicles, boats on trailers, motor homes, and camper trailers may not be stored on public streets or in front yard setbacks of residential zones. Owners may park such vehicles in side or rear yards, fully screened from view, or inside enclosed garages. Short-term loading and unloading is permitted for up to 24 hours. Violations are enforced by the Fort Lee Police Department and Property Maintenance officers, who may issue tickets and order removal at the owner's expense after notice.
Fines typically range from $50 to $500 per offense, with each day of continued violation treated as a separate offense subject to additional penalties.
