Lynn, MA Parking Rules: RV & Boat Parking (2026)

Under Lynn's zoning ordinance, no property may keep more than one unregistered, uninsured, or inoperable motor vehicle, boat, trailer, camper, motorcycle, or recreational vehicle ungaraged for more than 72 hours, and none may be stored in the front yard at all. Registered, operable RVs and boats are generally kept in a side or rear yard or a driveway. The rule does not apply to licensed dealers selling or leasing vehicles under M.G.L. c. 140, § 58. On-street storage is impractical because Lynn's snow-emergency bans clear every public street of parked vehicles during winter storms.
