Section 66, Storage and Parking of Trailers and Commercial Vehicles, of the Comprehensive Land Development Regulations governs this in unincorporated Houston County. It opens by declaring that commercial vehicles and trailers of all types, including travel, boat, camping, and hauling trailers, cannot be parked or stored on any lot with a dwelling, or on any lot in a Residential District, except as the section allows. 2 permits travel trailers, hauling trailers, or boat trailers only if they are parked or stored behind the front yard building line, meaning they cannot sit in front of the house facing the street.
