Pasco County prohibits all RV parking in the right-of-way countywide under LDC §530.5 (Amendment 80). RVs may be stored on the side or rear of a residence if screened by a 6-foot fence or adequate vegetation. RVs include motorhomes, camping trailers, fifth-wheels, boats, jet-skis, and utility trailers. Fines up to $500/day after the educational period ends February 2026.
The expanded parking rules became effective November 12, 2025. An educational period runs through February 27, 2026, after which warning notices and tickets with fines up to $500 per day will be issued. Overnight or long-term ROW parking is prohibited. Loading/unloading is briefly permitted. Contractors and service providers actively working are exempt while conducting business.
