On county roads, Osceola County requires you to park off the traveled roadway when practicable, leaving a clear lane and 200 feet of visibility, and to park with right-hand wheels within 12 inches of the curb. You may not block driveways or stand within 15 feet of a fire hydrant.
Osceola County Code Chapter 22, Article II governs on-street parking in the unincorporated county. Section 22-36 requires you to park off the paved, main-traveled part of the roadway when practicable, always leaving an unobstructed lane and a clear view of the vehicle from 200 feet each way. Section 22-38 requires parking parallel with the right-hand wheels within 12 inches of the curb. Section 22-39 bars standing or parking in front of a public or private driveway, within 15 feet of a fire hydrant, in a fire lane, on a sidewalk or bike path, or where official signs prohibit it. These rules apply only in unincorporated areas, not on state roads or inside cities.
Parking violations are enforced by the Osceola County Sheriff and code enforcement; vehicles may be towed under § 22-1, and civil citations start at $250 under Chapter 7.
