Tulsa, OK Parking Rules: Street Parking Limits (2026)

Tulsa Revised Ordinances Title 37, § 511 requires a parked vehicle to be headed in the direction of traffic with its curb-side wheels within 12 inches of the curb: parking against traffic flow (wrong-way parking) violates this section. Section 522 separately bans stopping or parking across a driveway to any degree, on a sidewalk, within an intersection, within 10 feet of a fire hydrant, on or over a crosswalk, within 15 feet of a railroad, or in a fire lane, unless directed otherwise by a police officer or traffic-control device. Section 519 adds a 24-hour limit: any vehicle left on a public street, alley or public way for more than 24 continuous hours is declared a public nuisance and may be tagged and impounded.
