Riverside County contracts with franchised haulers (Burrtec, Waste Management, CR&R, and others depending on zone) under Ordinance 773 for mandatory residential solid waste service. Carts must be stored behind a fence, in a garage, on the side of the house, or otherwise screened from street view outside the collection window.
