(a) Prohibited. It shall be unlawful to possess or to consume alcoholic beverages at any time at any of the following public places within the city: (1) Municipal Little League baseball parks, city softball parks and city baseball parks; (2) Municipal swimming pools; (3) Municipal parking lots; (4) Municipal tennis courts; (5) Municipal playgrounds; (6) The plazas of the city; and (7) The entire grounds of the Laredo Civic Center. (b) ... upon conviction shall be fined in a sum not to exceed two hundred dollars ($200.00).
